Certification That Reflects Real-World Stability
At The Dog Standard, we believe training should create dogs that are confident, stable, and capable of navigating the real world successfully. Certifications are one way to demonstrate that foundation and showcase the relationship between dog and owner.
We currently offer training and evaluation for the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen program. The CGC is one of the most recognized dog certifications in the country and evaluates practical obedience, manners, composure, and behavior in everyday situations.

Our goal is not simply to “teach for the test.”
We help dogs develop the mindset, stability, and handler relationship that make passing these evaluations feel natural. Additional certification programs and advanced testing opportunities are planned as we continue expanding our training offerings.
