Our facility is maintained with hospital-grade cleaning, and each dog receives daily wellness checks, along with detailed tracking of eating, potty habits, and behavior. Pets with special needs benefit from custom meals and medication administration, while laundry services keep their bedding fresh.
Dogs enjoy 3,600 square feet of private, covered turf yards for one-on-one playtime, rain or shine. Guests are welcome to bring favorite toys and bedding, and we provide plenty of comforts if not.

Our staff dedicates one-on-one time to your dog, doing exactly what they love most — whether it’s chasing balls, playing tug, or soaking up some affection. Up to five 15-minute sessions daily can be added for dogs who thrive on engagement.
Outdoor Potty Walks
Your dog’s daily routine matters. That’s why we provide at least three outdoor relief breaks per day, in addition to any play or exercise sessions.
Social Play
For dogs who pass a behavioral evaluation, our structured Daycare & Group Play program lets them mingle with other friendly pups under the close supervision of trained staff. It’s safe, energetic, and always tailored to play style and temperament.
Evening Wind-Downs
We offer calming Story Time sessions for dogs who enjoy winding down with gentle cuddles, quiet voices, and a relaxed atmosphere before bedtime.
Snack Time
Our homemade Yappy Hour treats include fan favorites like stuffed Kongs or peanut butter delights, whipped up right in our on-site kitchen for a fun and tasty break.

🛡️ Health & Safety Requirements
At The Dog Standard, your pet’s well-being is our top priority. To maintain a healthy and secure environment for all our guests, the following vaccination requirements must be met prior to check-in:
🐶 Required Vaccines for Dogs:
Rabies
Distemper
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Canine Influenza (Both H3N2 & H3N8 strains*)
*The first dose of the Canine Influenza vaccine must be administered at least 10 days before your dog’s arrival.
A formal vaccination record from a licensed veterinarian is required. Please ensure records are submitted prior to your pet’s stay.
🧳 What to Pack for Your Dog’s Stay
To help your pup feel right at home, here’s a helpful guide for what to bring (and what to leave behind) for their stay with us:
🍽️ Food
We recommend bringing your dog’s regular food to maintain consistency and avoid any tummy troubles. While we do have in-house food available, a familiar diet is always best — and we’re happy to prepare custom meals at no additional charge.
Packing Tip: Only send the exact amount your dog will need for their stay, portioned into disposable zip-lock bags.
🍖 Treats
Feel free to pack a few of your pup’s favorite treats, but please do not include rawhides or high-risk chew items. These will be held safely by staff until pickup. Looking to surprise them with something tasty? We offer a variety of delicious snacks in our on-site retail section.
💊 Medications
We’re able to administer oral and topical medications during your dog’s stay. Please send all prescriptions in their original labeled containers, along with detailed written instructions.
Note: We do not administer injections. Medications must be packed separately from food.
Before You Arrive: Please call or email us with any special medical instructions so we’re fully prepared.
🛏️ Bedding
We provide high-quality bedding — Kuranda-style raised beds in standard suites and plush linens in our luxury accommodations. You’re welcome to send a machine-washable blanket or comfort item from home for added coziness. Large or oversized beds may not fit comfortably in some rooms or be suitable for laundering.
🧸 Toys
You’re welcome to pack up to three toys from home, especially those that help your dog relax, chew, or snuggle. We’ve got plenty of tug ropes, squeaky toys, and balls for play sessions — so just bring what your pup loves most in their downtime.
🥣 Bowls
No need to bring food or water dishes — we supply freshly sanitized stainless steel bowls daily. However, if your dog requires a slow feeder or elevated bowls, feel free to send them along.
